PEASANT BREAD

Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Bake time: 30-35 minutes
Equipment: seasoned cast iron pan
medium to large bowl
Ingredients: one packet instant yeast
four cups all purpose flour
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
2 cups lukewarm water
Preparation: whisk together flour and
yeast, sugar, salt
add lukewarm water, combine
cover bowl and let stand in warm spot for 1.5 hours or
until dough doubles in size
after the dough doubled, I
scraped it away from the bowl
then poured it into the cast iron
pan. ensure the pan is seasoned
to avoid stickiness. I let the
dough sit, covered, another
20-30 minutes. Then, I placed
it in a pre-heated 300-350
degreed oven for 30-35 minutes
until golden brown. Immediately,
I rubbed butter all over the
bread. Let cool, before slicing.
Once you slice it, you will taste
the delicious butter in every bite.
Be careful not to eat this bread
all at once. IT IS THAT GOOD.
